We use Type I and Type III Collagen.
The hides are first cleaned and soaked in hot water to remove excess fat. Then they are processed in an alkaline or acid solution to facilitate the release of collagen. Next, the hides are cooked in water to extract the collagen from the hides. The Collagen Peptides are then broken down further by using an enzyme treatment prior to evaporation and milling. The result is a powder form of collagen.

Our collagen is derived from grass-fed, pasture-raised bovine hides from Brazil.
We source our collagen from Brazilian Nelore breed bovine that are pasture-raised and grass-fed. In Brazil, cattle are raised on perennial grass systems and the use of rBGH in feed is prohibited. rBGH is typically injected into diary cows in order to produce more milk. Because our Nelore breed is exclusively used for beef, our cows are raised without rBGH.
The cattle are raised on perennial tropical grass systems. In order to be classified as grass-fed and pasture-raised in Brazil, each cow must have 2.67 acres. These standards adhere to the Global Animal Partnership 5-step animal welfare ratings.

Like the collagen - dissolves nicely, don't notice any taste when I throw it in a protein shake or mix it with bcaa.
