Paying homage to arguably the greatest swordsman to ever live, Miyamoto Musashi, we introduce the ATH Kanji Tee.
Musashi was a Japanese swordsman, philosopher, strategist, writer and rōnin who became renowned through stories of his unique double-bladed swordsmanship and undefeated record in his 61 duels. He is considered a Kensei, a sword-saint of Japan.
The back of this tee features a Kabuto helmet, a type of traditional Japanese armor worn by the samurai class and their retainers in feudal Japan, and one of Musashi's quotes from his book The Book of Five Rings.
The quote translates to “One thousand days to forge the spirit, ten thousand to polish it.”
See to it that you temper yourself with one thousand days of practice, and refine yourself with ten thousand days of training. One becomes a beginner after one thousand days of training and an expert after ten thousand days of practice.
The characters featured on the left chest, 鍛錬 literally translates "to physical exercise, to workout, to temper or forge, to toughen," along with the staple ATH Logo.
This tee comes in White and Black with limited quantities made.
